LG, the South Korean electronics giant company, has unveiled a new Smartphone that features a second screen and two front cameras and the smart watch which can be used to make and receive phone calls.
The V10 Smart phones will be the latest handset in the product line of LG. This Smartphone has a 5.7 inch main screen and has an additional inset screen above the main screen, which will be able to display information such as date, time, weather, device icon, battery life, etc. when the main display is off. The second screen can be used for launching the favorite apps and user shortcuts, when the main display is in use.
The V10 will have tough competition from the recently unveiled Nexus phones from Google and the iPhone 6S and 6S + phones from Apple.
The other major features that make this the latest technology handset is that it allows video capturing, editing, sharing to produce most refined videos and using the manual mode, the user can adjust the frame rate, shutter speed, white balance, focus etc while doing the shooting.
The CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications, Juno Cho said that V10 has been designed primarily as a multimedia Smartphone for sharing network. The pricing of the Smartphone was not revealed by LG.
This high end model has two cameras facing the front which will allow the user to take 1200 shots. V10 will be using android 5.1.1 Lollipop as its OS. It is expected to debut in October this year in Korea. It will be followed by launches in markets like China, U.S and other Asian markets.
LG has also released a smart watch, which is the first wear device in android with cellular connectivity. The users will be able to use this smart watch as a phone when needed. The smart watch comes with 1.38 inches P-OLED full circle display and a resolution of 480×480 with 348 pixels/inch. Named as the Urbane second edition, this watch will be the first in the new category of wearables.
The smart watch has a metal body and comes with 16 faces. The three buttons on the right side of the watch can be used as shortcuts to reach contacts, apps list and the fitness tracker called LG health.
The smart watch comes with 1.2 GHz QUALCOMM Snapdragon 400 chip. LG will launch the second edition Urbane, first in Korea and the U.S. The prices and specific dates of launch are not announced by the company yet.
