The all new iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S plus has been available for sale in the market from 25th September. The first weekend of the launch of iPhone 6S and 6S plus has given Apple its best ever iPhone sales so far in its history. Since the phone has been made available to the users there have been reports and rumors about the improper functioning of the iPhones. The latest complaints from a few iPhone 6S users is that the phone randomly switches off completely, even when it has full power and is not attended to.

Some iPhone 6S Owners Complain Of Phone Turning Off Suddenly

It is not known as to what is causing the phone to shut off completely even when its battery is fully charged. A few of the iPhone 6S users have claimed that they feel the home button to be warm to touch when they are trying to restart their smartphones.

The iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S plus has been on sale for only a week now and there are many problems about the phones that is getting accumulated every day. The shutdown of the iPhone randomly is a serious issue that could even dent the sales of the phone in the future.

Some are of the belief that the random shut off of the phone could be related to overheating of the power button. There are other users who feel that the problem is related to a software problem.

The owners of the iPhone 6S and 6S plus who have faced the shut off problem have voiced their concerns on Reddit, support communities of Apple and Mac Rumors forums. They have also given details of how their phones are shut off.

There are even reports of similar shut offs from iPhone 6 users as well. This means that there is no problem with the phone and it is a problem with the new iOS 9.0.1 version OS. A poll conducted by Mac Rumors suggests that most of the iPhone users who have been affected with one problem or the other have their phones running on the new iOS 9.0.1 and iOS 9.0.1 beta version.

Apple so far has not come out with a statement as to why this problem is occurring. But, it will be addressing the problem very soon as the Apple reputation is at stake. If the random shutdowns of the iPhones are related to software problems and not hardware issues, then Apple will be able to easily carry out a software upgrade to fix the issue.
