The Infiniti Q30 car is all set to make its showdown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany. The all new Q30 is the version of Nissan’s first compact luxury car and jointly developed Mercedes Benz A-Class. The Q30 will be offered in a wide range of gas and diesel powered engines in various markets.

Infiniti has plans to add a new version of the Q30 in order to view the luxury SUV car buyers. It will be raising the height of the Q30 hatchback in order to develop an impression in the minds of the younger generation. It is looking to bring the SUV styling in its hatchback car by raising the car’s height at the top.

Taller Infiniti Q30 Design To Attract SUV Buyers

The two Infiniti Q30 variants SE and Premium are the cars that will be coming out with a raised height of 59 inches, which is just about an inch taller than the Sports version. Infiniti is of the belief that the SE and the Premium models will be suited to places where there is inconsistent road surfaces that are seen in some urban environments. The raised height is indicated by the car’s black wheel arch trims.

The ports model of Q30 is offering just half an inch lesser ground clearance that will make it a firmer and tighter car to ride on. The Sports model can be easily differentiated from the tallerQ30 models as it has a remodeled front bumper.

Infiniti hopes that the Q30 hatchback is able to attract the younger generation car buyers as it has a polarizing design that will help the car to stand out in the crowd and compete with other luxury brands like Audi A3 and BMW 1series.

The Q30 from Infiniti will be making use of the Mercedes Benz MFA front wheel platform that is also the underpin of compact cars from Mercedes like A class hatchback and GLA SUV. The Q30 will be offered with three engines from Mercedes: 1.6 liter 122 HP or 156 HP gasoline engine, 2.0 liter 211 HP gasoline engine and a 2.2 liter 211 HP diesel engine. There will also be a 1.5 liter, 109 HP diesel engine from Renault that will be sued under the hood of the Infiniti Q30. These engines will be coupled to a six speed manual or a seven speed dual clutch automatic transmission.

The bold design of the Q30 is a sincere effort from Infiniti to make a striking difference between the larger models of cars from Infiniti.
