The GT3 racing car from the BMW stable has been a huge success worldwide. Now, the 2016 version of the BMW M6 GT3 racing will be coming out next season and the car has been tweaked a bit in order to offer you even better performance and style.
The BMW M6 GT3 will be the successor to the popular BMW Z4 GT3 that has been in action on the GT racing tracks since 2010. Customers who are looking to own a sports car and love racing cars can purchase the all new BMW M6 GT3 by the end of 2015. This will allow you to take part in the 2016 BMW Sports Trophy with the new M6 GT3 car.
Even though the BMW Z4 GT3 has been doing very good in the GT racing circuit, BMW wants to bring in a new race car to the scene in 2016. This is why it has come out with BMW M6 GT3 that is based on the M6 coupe. This all new GT3 racer is powered by a 4.4 liter V-8 engine and the engine has been slightly modified to suit its outings on the racing tracks. The V-8 engine under the hood of the BMW M6 GT3 is paired with a 6 speed sequential transmission system that is mounted on the rear axle to offer a better balance of the car’s weight. The engine can offer a maximum power of 585 HP along with very high torque.
As this is a racing car, the BMW GT3 with M6 engine is made using composite materials in order to keep its body weight down. The car has a weight of 2,866 pounds. The M6 GT3 has a longer wheelbase compared to the Z4 GT3 and hence offers better handling. The reliability, ease of maintenance and efficiency of the car has been improved to offer great racing. This car will offer lower running costs than the Z4 GT3.
There is a lot of importance given to the safety aspects of the car and hence all latest safety standards have been put into practice in this car. The car will be shown to the general public at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and will be on sale after its debut at the show. The car will be on sale in the US dealerships by the end of the year. The price of the car for sale in the US has not been revealed, though many believe it could be just over $425,000.
